What does the job involve?
Lets get straight to it. We operate a number of websites and to help boost our position in Google, part of our optimisation strategy involves obtaining links to our websites from other sites. We therefore require students who spend a lot of time on the internet and/or forums to assist with the process of building links to our websites, by contacting website owners and obtaining links. We will pay a commission for every link obtained to one of our sites.
The process of obtaining links is very easy. We will give you guidance on which websites to contact and will also provide you with email templates. You then simply need to contact the website owners and negotiate with them to obtain a backlink to our site. The majority of website owners are more than happy to link to useful, quality sites that are relevant to their own.
How much will I be paid?
This is almost entirely up to you. You can choose to work as often or as regularly as you want and as the pay will be on a commission basis, you can work to suit your needs. The amount you will be paid for an individual link depends on the quality of the site you obtain the link from, but will be between £3-7 for one website link.
Once you get into a routine of contacting websites, it is feasible you could send 20 emails per hour. If you were then to obtain just 5 links per hour (we would expect you to convert higher than this, but lets consider a worst case scenario), even at the minimum £3 per link, you could expect to make £15 per hour.
Not bad for a student job eh, and all from the comfort of your own home at the hours you choose!
